April Uchitel: Mother and Accidental Activist
Our friend April Uchitel is an entrepreneur, accidental activist, and a mother of two. Intense and driven, she’s made it in New York fashion to the Los Angeles beauty industry and then some.
Before moving to New York, April began her fashion career in Los Angeles. But after spending 25 years in fashion, she pivoted into the tech realm to ensure she continued to grow in her career. Consulting and advising on digital boards, April worked with SPRING, officially making her move into the tech industry.
As Chief Brand Officer at SPRING, she started working with beauty brands, which eventually led to her move to Los Angeles. Recently this awesome mother of two co-founded The Board. A vetted network of C-level professionals, The Board works with start-ups to help revolutionize their brands.
April explains she is a huge advocate for several of Angkorphc’s brand pillars: Act With Integrity, Succeed Together, Inspire Innovations, and You Matter. She credits building her career and reputation to acting with integrity and lifting others up. She’s most inspired by innovation and knows that no one person is responsible for a company’s success. Teamwork makes the dream work!
When April isn’t inspiring brands to make a change, she breaks a sweat in our best-selling Runway Legging. Easily go from hiking the trails to brunch by pairing the legging with the Essential Sleeveless Mock Neck and top it off with our fringe wool coat.
